Hardcore fan of the Mafia series.
I played the first part after its release in my childhood years. I have completed the second and third volumes in their classic and definitive editions and
also a remake of the first part. In addition to Mafias, I also do not disdain good horror films, action-adventure games or strategies. As far as brands go, among my favorites
includes Resident Evil, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Grand Theft Auto, Hitman, Age of Empires and more.
The best Mafia game
I consider the first Mafia to be a treasure, unmatched in many ways to this day. Yes, if we look at it that way, the game is full of bugs,
it has many times worse graphics than some newer titles and I could go on, but by its standards and the year 2002, when Mafia was released, it includes various elements that many people don't even know about today, and the creators in this
they managed to bring truly unique details to the game in many ways. But a small but easy to remember map,
excellent story, distinctive characters, breathtaking dubbing and musical accompaniment, references, interesting facts, mysteries and so on.
If I take into account just the fact that we can ride a tram or an elevated train, it's a really elaborate thing that seems like something
in addition, we will use maybe only 20%, but none of the newer parts of the series, not even the remake of the first one, could reach this size
from 2020.
Worst Mafia game
I have a personal opinion that it is the worst game in the series
third part. But first I have to praise the environment, the great gameplay, the music
and cars. What bothers me, however, is the progress in the story, when we no longer have classically aligned missions like in the previous parts,
but here we have a way à la GTA where we freely move around the map and choose what task we will perform now. It's not all that bad yet,
until it goes to liquidation
traders. Instead of missions that will have a crazy story
and they get their buffs, so most of the game is just conquering territory. We then experience full-fledged missions
in case we have to kill some of the lieutenants or bosses of the enemy Marcan family.
But what is even more unacceptable is the fact that we are no longer playing here as a Sicilian and an ordinary person who somehow gets
into esteemed company, but we play as "Rambo," a bloated African-American war veteran who
he does not hesitate to brutally murder anyone who gets in his way and forms his own criminal organization.
