Freeride mode, in which we are not bound by any tasks, missions, or anything similar. In this mode, there is a fully functional finance system, within which
we can earn money and then spend it
on weapons, healing or car repairs.
When starting the Ride mode, its settings will be displayed. The Ride options are unlocked as the main storyline progresses. After completing the game, we will have a choice of several location variants:
a small town (some parts of the city are inaccessible),
a night city,
a night landscape,
a day city,
a day landscape. After starting the Ride, we always have a Colt 1911 pistol, a S&W Model 27 Magnum revolver,
a Thompson 1928 submachine gun and a sawed-off shotgun.
We can also choose the vehicle with which we will start the Ride. The choice is always from the cars that we have learned to unlock during the campaign, or that we have obtained in Freeride Extreme.
We can also set the density of traffic, pedestrians and police and after moving to the next card we choose in which specific part of the selected
location we want to start, i.e. outside the "small town".
There are several hidden vehicles distributed around the map in Ride that we can drive. Their location is discussed in the article:
We can earn money by driving passengers in a taxi, in which case the amount earned is determined individually, according to
the distance to the destination. By driving fast over 100 km/h we earn 100 dollars every 2-3 seconds, if we maintain the speed.
By destroying vehicles we also get 100 dollars for one exploded car. For each killed gangster we get 500 dollars, unfortunately this does not apply if
they explode inside the car, in which case we only get 100 dollars for that car.
Shopping & fines
$1000 costs treatment at the hospital, at its entrance, where there is a first aid kit. For $2000, we can have our car completely repaired at Lucas Bertone's, if we drive into his garage. Filling up with gas costs $500. A fine from the police is $1000. For $2000, we can save the game at Salieri's bar.

Gangsters
An integral part of the Ride are Morell's mafia, who drive around the city in dark
Falconer
and Wright.
They will pass us by unnoticed, but as soon as we even slightly bump into their car or start attacking them in some way, they will cease to be recognizable.
They usually carry pistols, but also sawed-off shotguns or Thompson submachine guns. In addition to these motorized gangsters,
there are also foot soldiers walking the streets. They absolutely always carry Thompsons. We can recognize them by their long black coats and hats.
