Sawed-off shotgun

A legendary weapon traditionally used by Italian and Italian-American mafia organizations to settle scores as a vendetta. It is a hunting shotgun that has a cut-down barrel and a shortened stock, in order to increase the dispersion of the cartridge and also to make it easier to conceal and manipulate the modified shotgun. The weapon has two triggers, one for each barrel.

We will meet this shotgun, which is called Lupara in Sicily, in several chapters. First, in the chapter The whore, we will encounter a member of the security guard and a receptionist in the Corleone Hotel who have a sawn-off shotgun. In the chapter Omerta, we will obtain it from Vincenzo to carry out the vendetta. Later, one of the gangsters uses it in the parking garage in the chapter Great Deal and we get it again from Vincenzo to settle accounts in the chapter Créme de la créme. A gangster has one Lupara with him in a task from Lucas Bertone, in which we have to deliver a package to Dick. In the last chapter The death of art, a gangster has it hidden behind a sofa in one of the halls of the city gallery. In the Ride mode, the sawn-off shotgun is also abundantly represented. Not only do we have it in our inventory since the start of the Ride, but gangsters driving in cars also tend to have it by chance.
